It’s almost time to start the 2025-2026 school year! We hope you’ve had a wonderful and relaxing summer. To help you prepare for the new year, we’ve compiled a list of helpful information and important dates.
Uniform information
Due to an overabundance of the old uniforms (Panthers), we’re still unable to effect a complete switch this year to the new logo (Ambassadors), so uniforms will remain the same, with slight adjustments.
Polos are available for purchase in the school office (see the dates below for office hours). The items we have available for purchase here are for the M, T, Th, F uniforms only. Chapel Uniforms (W) will need to be purchased online. See details below.

*Note: The plaid jumpers (girls K-5-12th) may be worn throughout the entire week, not only on chapel days. (Girls 7th-12th) Plaid jumpers may be worn with polos on M, T, Th, and F; however, they must be worn with the fitted oxford shirt on chapel days (W).
You are not required to purchase all the items from French Toast. If you are able to find better quality or cheaper options elsewhere, please feel free to purchase at your discretion.
PE Shirts:
All students from PreK-12th Grade must order a PE shirt with a logo through the school.
Students from K5-4th Grade, who are not required to change into P.E. uniforms, must still purchase the shirts mainly for field trips and special events (e.g., Field Day & school retreat).
Grades 5-12 might want to consider purchasing at least 2 for their P.E. classes.
For this year, here’s the ordering process:
- Order in person at the office.
- Be ready with shirt size and quantity needed. Sizes start from as little as T’s (toddler’s).
- All orders for the same family can be on the same receipt.
- All orders must come with payment (cash or check only). No exceptions.
- Prices are as follows:
- K5 – 4th Grade ~ $8.00
- 5th – 12th Grade ~ $10.00

Important Back-to-School dates
The front office will be open 9:00 am – 12:00 pm on July 28, and August 5-6th.
August 3, 10:30 am – WCA Dedication Service at FBCSB Auditorium:
All are invited to attend this special service to prepare the hearts of our staff, faculty, and students here at WCA.
August 4:
- Open House, 5:00 – 6:15 pm: The WCA doors are open for all students and their families to visit the classrooms, drop off their school supplies and meet their teachers. The WCA Front Office will also be open to assist families with any needs they may have.
- Orientation, 6:30 – 7:15 pm: Held in the auditorium. Dr. Holding will be greeting all new and returning WCA families, going over the school handbook, and answering any questions you may have regarding the upcoming school year.
August 7:
- First day of school: Welcome back!
- Noon dismissal
August 8: Noon dismissal
August 10, 3:45 – 4:30 pm – PAWs Organizational Meeting : The purpose of PAWS is to create a strong group of parent volunteers to work with the school staff to coordinate school-wide events and activities for our students as well as help in the classroom. If you’re interested in being a part of the PAWS Committee, we would love to have you! All staff and WCA parents are invited to attend.
August 20-22, 12:45-3:15 pm – Back-to-School Retreat and Revival: We will take time to pause and focus on what our school is all about — leading students to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and preparing them to serve Him and fulfill His purpose in their lives. To do that, we needed to ensure that all of our students know who Jesus is. Each day, our students, teachers, and staff will meet in the auditorium for worship, sermon, and connection groups. Parents and family are welcome!
August 29th – First TAG Day of the year: Students may pay $2.00 to wear non-uniform clothes to school on this day. Sign-up information will be available closer to the event.
